Who is 'Uncle Ronnie'? Ronnie was Marshall's uncle, although 2 months older. They grew up together and it was Ronnie who brought Eminem into rap, they planned to become a rap duo and take over the world, performing in films and on soundtracks ( after being inspired by Ice Tea's Reckless ). Tragically, Ronnie shot himself with a shot gun, an incident which has Eminem not talking to anyone for months. The dog tag which Eminem was seen wearing through the early stages of his career had 'Ronnie' engraved and was worn out of respect. A sad point to make, at the time of the death, Marshall's mum: Debbie told Eminem that he missed a call of Ronnie's and claimed it was his fault. The pain this caused Marshall is unimaginable.
